Learn More About Denmark Student Visa Costs
Assalamualaikum hope everyone is well. There are many of us who want to go to Denmark to study. Many people want to know how much it costs to get a student visa in Denmark. In today's article, I have tried to discuss about the total cost of a student visa in Denmark. If you read the article carefully from the beginning to the end, you will know about all the expenses from the beginning to the end.
Usually, when discussing the cost of student visa in any country, some steps come forward. So for the convenience of the discussion and to make it easier for you to understand, I have organized today's entire discussion into five steps which are discussed in sequence.
Application Costs
From the very beginning, the first thing that comes to mind when going to any country on a student visa is the application fee. We all know that application fee has to be paid compulsorily while applying to any university for higher education abroad.
Application fees for public and private universities in Denmark are usually between 100 and 200 Euros, which can be as high as 13,000 to 26,500 Tk in Bangladeshi Taka. But there is an advantage here if a student gets an opportunity to study there after applying, then after completing the first semester in the university, this application is returned free. After applying you usually have to wait until you get an offer letter from the university.
Tuition Fees
After receiving the offer letter, the next step is to submit the tuition fee. In case of Denmark student visa, the first semester tuition fee has to be deposited in advance after receiving the offer letter. In case of payment of tuition fee, an invoice or receipt from the University is issued according to the amount of tuition fee.
This invoice contains all the information related to how much money should be deposited, within what time and to which account it should be deposited. After depositing this first semester tuition fee, the university usually issues the final admission letter.
But if one has got the scholarship then no need to submit application fee, the final admission letter comes automatically from the university. The amount of tuition fee deposit depends on the university and the subject.
In terms of universities, tuition fees vary between public and private universities. However, in the case of public universities, tuition fees can range from a minimum of 2,500 euros to a maximum of 11,000 euros, which can range from 3,32,000 to 1,400,000 to 1,400,000 in Bangladeshi Taka. Generally, the tuition fee is higher in subjects like engineering, data science, artificial intelligence etc. And in the case of business faculty subjects, the tuition fee is on average between 3000 to 5000 euros which is between four and a half lakh to 6 lakh in Bangladeshi taka.
Visa Processing Fee
The next step after submitting the tuition fee is to apply for visa processing. The first step of visa processing is to create a case ID order for which a student has to pay 28 thousand Bangladeshi taka and if he wants to go with a dependent family member then he has to pay 24 thousand 225 taka. This cost is mainly to be paid to the Danish government for the fee that our immigration will be completed. Visa processing in Bangladesh has to deposit money, here it takes a total of 21 thousand 350 taka. Also 1410 rupees extra has to be paid as service charge.
Bank Statement
Denmark visa application usually does not require bank statements for single students only for dependents. And the second thing is the bank statement but actually no cost usually has to be deposited in the bank account for a certain period of time.
According to the information of Danish Immigration it is usually deposited as living cost of the dependent for one year which is currently 14 lakh 8 thousand 815 according to the conversion rate. Bank solvency along with bank statement has to be given during visa processing, bank service charge is also kept for them which is like 200 to 600 taka.
Note that all the above information is collected from the Danish Immigration website, if you want to know more than that, you can directly visit their website. These were all the expenses until the visa, then the expenses after getting the visa. Normally, after obtaining the visa, there is no mandatory cost except for the flight ticket. However, the cost of air tickets will depend on the airlines and the class of tickets you take. If you want to take Turkish Airlines economy class ticket then it will cost like 58000 rupees.
Some other expenses
Apart from the expenses mentioned above there are some optional expenses such as shopping. Of course, this is a completely personal matter, but when it comes to cost, it comes to the fore. Normally no one thinks of going abroad except for shopping because the culture and weather of Bangladesh will never match the culture or weather of abroad. For example, Bangladesh does not have much winter, but Denmark has a lot of winter. So even if you don't spend much on other things, you have to spend some amount on winter clothes especially shoes and jackets or other winter clothes.
last word
Although the above discussion is taken from the official website of Denmark Immigration, costs or other matters may change over time. The main purpose of writing the article was to give you an idea of how much money it might cost from visa application to Denmark until you get there.
If you read the article carefully from beginning to end then hopefully there should be no more questions about this. However, the application fee or other expenses may vary based on the dollar rate or the value of the Bangladeshi rupee at the time you apply for the visa, so please check before applying.
